May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month within the United States of America; a time to celebrate and recognize the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to our nation's history and culture. At The Christian Chain, we wish to spend this month honoring their diverse cultures, traditions, and achievements of all Asians and Pacific Islanders worldwide, as well as to reflect on the challenges and persecution they have faced.

Asians and Pacific Islanders have made a remarkable impact on the Christian Church and are still contributing to its worldwide growth. However, we must also recognize the challenges and prejudices that they have faced, from within their own cultures and within the Church as a whole. This month, we will spotlight the lives of four extraordinary individuals who have made lasting contributions to the Church by spreading the word of Christ throughout their societies and being a shining example within their cultures.

It is important to recognize and celebrate the diversity within the Asian and Pacific Islander community. This includes acknowledging the different languages, traditions and cultures that make up this vibrant community. By doing so, we can better understand and appreciate the contributions of Asians and Pacific Islanders to the Church's history and culture.

In conclusion, this month is a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of this diverse community, as well as to reflect on the challenges they have faced. By doing so, we can work towards building a more unified Church body for all.
