Kristin grew up in Phoenix, and graduated from Saint Mary's College of California with a bachelors' degree in communications. After graduating, Kristin spent several months in Central America enrolled in a Spanish language immersion program.

Kristin has since worked in hospitality management and in the nonprofit sector, including Recruitment Specialist and Global HR Special Projects Administrator for Food for the Hungry. Between juggling career roles with her role as a mom, she is currently pursuing a certification in high-performance leadership from Cornell University. When not volunteering for her church's children's ministry or pursuing education, Kristin enjoys podcasts and books from authors like Brene Brown and Matt Chandler.

She lives in Phoenix with her husband and two children.
